Ingredients
for a 1-lb loaf:

tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 /4
cup milk (for Welbilt machine, add 1 tablespoon
more of milk)
2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 1/2 teaspoons Red Star brand active
dry yeast
Directions:
In a small skillet, melt butter over low
heat. Add onion and saute 8 to 10 minutes
until onion is soft but not brown. Remove
from heat; allow mixture to cool for 10
minutes before adding it to the bread
pan.
Place all ingredients (including onion
mixture) in bread pan, select Rapid Bake
setting, and press Start. After the baking
cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place
on cake rack, and allow to cool 1 hour
before slicing.
