Maker Accessories
Rice makers generally
don’t lend themselves to accessories.
There’s just not that much to supplement;
it’s really a glorified hot plate. But
there are a few useful little items that
can make using your rice cooker a little
easier, items that often come with your
rice maker when you purchase it. In case
they don’t, or in case you’re buying used
and some of the original extras are MIA,
here is a brief list.
- Rice Maker Paddle:
Don’t ask us why these little spatula’s
work better than, say, a spoon when
it comes time to scoop out the rice;
they just do!
- Rice Maker
Steamer Tray: Some electric rice cookers
can pull double-duty and cook pasta,
meat, etc., but they’ll need one of
these to do it.
- Plastic Rice Measuring
Cup: The machines manufactures know
just how much to put in, and design
their cups accordingly. Now that’s science!
- Measurement Marks in
the Pan: Because when you’re cooking
with a rice cooker you’ve got to have
the right amount of H2O.
- Rice Maker Carrying
Handle: Hurray! No more need for those
ugly potholders!
