Slow Cooker Features
Slow cookers are pretty simple
affairs. There’s a liner with a heating element
inside, a pot goes in the liner, a lid goes
on the pot and that’s about it. Their great
strength is that there is little in the way
of complex machinery to break down. Most slowcookers
only have 2 settings as well: Low & High.
Still, there are few convenient special features.
· Removable Pot: Makes cleaning
easier, and the pot can double as a serving
dish.
· Removable Liner: Makes cleaning
easier still.
· Removable Cord: Aids in storage.
· Cool Handles & Body: For
safe carrying, moving.
· Rubber Feet: Prevents the
scratching of surfaces.
· Programmable Slow Cooker:
Automatically shifts between High/Low settings.
· Keep Warm Setting: Keeps food
on a low heat after cooking cycle is complete.
· Timer Functions: 4, 6, 8,
10-hour settings; shorter times means high heat.
