Some of the items on the following
list of waffle maker features may seem superfluous,
but if they can make using your electric waffle
maker easier, safer and help to make better
waffles, then it’s certainly worth your time
to consider looking out for them. True, they
may not be strictly necessary, but then neither
or waffles, and we’re not about to give up on
those.
• Waffle Maker Heat Settings: much
like the “darkness” control on a toaster.
• Indicator Lights: these
lights (usually LED’s) let you know when waffle
makers are ready to bake, when the waffles are
done, etc.
• Texture Modifier: this feature
bakes waffle fast and crisp or slow and soft.
• Non-stick Coated Plate:
for easy clean waffle irons.
• Rubber Feet: non-slip, non-scratch…what’s
not to like about these feet?
• Waffle Maker Cool-touch Handles:
these prevent burns.
• Wrap-around Cord or Cord Storage
Compartment: prevents wear on cord
and aids in storage.
