
Tips for Freezing Bread
When you have a bread machine you can cook a lot of bread and then freeze it for future use. However, after you go to the effort to cook your bread you want to make sure you freeze it properly. Otherwise, it will become freezer burnt and not worth eating. So, consider the following tips for freezing bread.
Tip #1 Wrap in plastic while still slightly warm to maintain moisture.
Tip #2 Make sure all air is out of plastic wrap or Ziploc bag.
Tip #3 Double wrap or double bag the bread.
Tip #4 Label the bread with date and type.
Tip #5 Freeze!
When you follow these instructions you will freeze your bread perfectly every time. Then, when you take it out of the freezer simply let the bread defrost on its own. Once the bread is defrosted you may then slice it and eat. Conversely, you may choose to heat the bread by toasting it or baking it for a few minutes. By following these tips you will be able to freeze bread successfully every time.
