A Swiss tradition that dates back hundreds of years to Swiss shepherds whom, while moving their herds into the mountains, would melt large rounds of cheese on a flat rock near their campfires. Once the cheese began to bubble and melt, they would scrape it off the rock and serve it over roasted potatoes. Today, Swissmar introduces the Swiss Raclette with a grill top.
