Now make the king of Boston dinner rolls with the ease of your bread machine or in your oven.

SAF yeast packets are enclosed. You provide only water and butter/oil.
Directions and tips for perfect bread are included. You can make this bread in your bread machine, by hand, or with a stand-type mixer. If you use your bread machine, you will form the rolls and bake them in your oven.

Don't miss these royal rolls--they are easy to make and oh, so good. Your family will love them. "My husband is very fond of the parker house rolls!" wrote one customer in Washington. Your family will be very fond of these rolls also.

The original Boston Parker House Hotel Rolls, circa 1860, were folded with a pat of butter tucked in the fold. Competitors, in an effort of one-upmanship, adopted a fancier cloverleaf shape but kept the same rich, buttery texture. These heritage rolls are based on an 1867 recipe with which we took the liberty of adding the tang of buttermilk. You will find the buttermilk to be the perfect touch for these slightly crusty, light, brioche-like rolls.
