Discover an excellent, 100% whole wheat bread that tastes like it came from the bakery--not the diet shop.
We weren't willing to sacrifice great quality for dietary restrictions. We worked hard to make this bread just right. We used Splenda instead of sugar and the best whole grain flour we could buy. We reduced the carbs with wheat gluten and dairy milk. (We didn't get it so low that we could label it as "low carb"--it has about 50% more carbs than similar servings of leading low carb breads.) The whole wheat made the bread low glycemic. But best of all, it was a bread that we enjoyed and one that was highly endorsed by our testers. We ate it with meals, for toast, for sandwiches, and even for French toast (it makes great French toast) and loved every slice. We think you and your family will too.
Each package contains one mix. Each mix makes a large loaf. (Butter not included)
If you make this bread in your bread machine, water temperature is critical. Please use a thermometer to measure water at exactly 80 degrees. A ten degree difference in water temperature can double the growth rate of the yeast. These bread mixes are satisfaction guaranteed when you use a thermometer.
Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, milk (nonfat dry milk solids), wheat gluten, salt, yeast (yeast, monostearate), Splenda®, and dough conditioner (added for better baking (wheat flour, dextrose, soy flour, calcium salts, dicetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, soy lecithin, ascorbic acid, L-cysteine monohydrochloride, fungal enzymes, azodicarbonamide, and calcium iodate)). This product contains wheat, soy, and dairy products and may contain traces of eggs, peanuts, or tree nuts.
